To make things worse, fires are most frequently extinguished with dry chemicals or water. Often compounding the problem and creating toxic smoke and odours that are left behind. These odours need to be neutralised.
The restoration process includes smoke and soot clean up, odour neutralisation, ozone treatment and water restoration (if required). This should be done straight after the damage occurs, to avoid further destruction.
Apart from the visual damage, contents within the premises must be evaluated on whether they are restorable or are non-salvageable.
Step 1: Inspection and fire damage assessment, including the scope of work.
Step 2: Water removal and drying (if water damage is present after extinguishing).
Step 3: Removal of smoke and soot from all surfaces.
Step 4: Cleanup and repair.
Step 5: Restoration.
